A man kneels just inside a bright home while his upright shadow remains outside, still holding a briefcase and phone.

You do not need the same recovery every evening.

Some days you are physically empty.

Some days your body is fine but your mind cannot process another demand.

Some days you are carrying the emotional residue of people, conflict or responsibility.

Some days you are exhausted and still activated.

Some days the problem is larger than the evening. The job is spending more than ordinary recovery can replace.

The purpose of this plan is not to optimise every minute between work and sleep.

It is to help you answer three questions accurately:

  1. What did work spend?

  2. What does that state need first?

  3. What must change if the same collapse keeps returning?

The Two-Minute Arrival Check

Rate each item from 1 to 10.

Circle the two highest scores.

Then complete:

The strongest state I am carrying is ________.

The first thing I normally do is ________.

That action usually makes me feel ________ ten minutes later.

This check gives you the first useful win.

It exposes whether your default transition is matched to the state.
